This letter is a photocopy of the original letter sent to Rome and then carried to Beijing for the United Nation’s Fourth World Conference on Women in 1995. My father was at the conference lobbying for the pro-life and pro-family cause and made the copies in his hotel room–copies that were ultimately distributed to delegates in six different languages. I treasure this connection to one of my favorite saints, an exemplary woman who teaches all of us something in her words, in her actions, and in her very being of the beauty of feminine love.
